I'm thinking of leaving my chair behind, and not just because I don't want to move it. I've had it many years, moved it here and there. However it never quite settled in a place so well, nor did I use it so much, as those two years alongside the canal. It feels akin to leaving a long buried special pet behind when you move. It stays, we go.

I remember that chair from when you lived in Zebulon. I would sit in it to watch Savanna play with Porkchop. A potbelly pig is probably the best playmate for a puppy--I can't imagine anything else being as patient.
