my 'lights around the arbor' project

I spent the better part of the weekend hanging these light around the arbor. One every 22 inches, I got it spaced exactly so. The glow at night is fantastic, my new favorite space to sit and relax.

hi val,
what a lovely spot to relax with a glass of wine at day's end. just curious, what are the vines that cover your arbor?

thank you Minnie!

Luanne, they are a trumpet vine and in the late summer provide a red flower.

Under our arbor have a mother dove sitting on a nest, plus a nest of red robins who come back to the same spot each years. One of our little bird houses contains a nest of little finches. It's fun to watch them!
