The red pears were so beautiful and on sale too. I tried to photograph them, but the result were pretty disasterous. Hats off to you and your red pears and grapefruit too!

cool blog! I found it because I'm checking out an Ansco Rediflex owned by my parents many years ago. It's missing the viewing lens, and a piece o the bakelite plastic just broke as I was opening it up. What kind of film do you use for your camera?

hello Ruth! The camera takes 620 film, but it's not made anymore. I'm not shooting film through the camera, I'm using the camera as a viewfinder of sorts. I use the old Ansco camera to frame an image/subject using the top glass viewfinder, then I use my Nikon D70 digital to take a photo of the glass viewfinder itself. That's where the distortion and the mirror image comes into play.

Does your camera have the top bubble viewing glass? Also there are two lenses on the front, it's the top one you need. I can send you more links if you want to try it out! Val
