She's so independant, I didn't remember that she was taking a day off school for an FBLA competition/test on 'Parlimentary Proceedures'. She bounded into the house this afternoon, victorious. Gee, I knew she was studying for something. I guess at 17, they don't tell us all the details of their lives.
I suspect at dinner tonight, she'll still be wearing around her neck, the first place ribbon she brought home today.

There's no greater achievement as a parent than to bring up an educated, independent child Val, so you deserve a pat on the back too.
