we picked up Rush from summer camp in the Poconos. His arms were covered with little notes and phone numbers from new friends.

miniature houses
when we're on vacation, Fred has grown accustomed to me shouting to stop the car. It can take hours longer to arrive at our final destination, than it should.
This place was well worth the stop. An entire block of miniature model homes, Wallenpaupack lakeside homes I suppose, built sometime in the early 1980's, several of them enveloped in ivy.

peaches
Marie left for me a big bag of peaches from her garden, on my front step this morning. Most of them I've peeled in preparation for a pie or two, these few were not quite ripe yet.
